Job Title: Pharmacist-Supervisor
Job Site: Bath, PA
Salary: $116,200.00 per year
Duration: Permanent position -Full Time M-F 40hrs/wk
Bath RX Inc dba Bath Drug needs experienced professional to compound, dispense prescribed medications on time unit dose packs for nursing homes/retail customers. Review prescriptions issued by the physician and determine formulas and ingredients to fill the prescriptions. Work on Medicare billing. Use computerized database to prepare audit reports. Counsel patients on the selection of medications & surgical supplies. Administer immunization vaccines. Analyze prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and to prevent excessive usage or harmful interaction. Work on call & week-end to assist nursing home to fill prescriptions and compliance. Supervise 2 Pharmacy Technicians.
Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences with 5 years progressive experience or Master’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences with 3 years experience. Must have Pharmacist license issued by the State of Pennsylvania
